Updating our NFL pickoff VS the spread
Our fellows, Colin, Riedy, Scott Stafford and Snyder have been battling all season long picking every single NFL game VS the spread. Last week they did the over / unders, too. So where do our pickers stand with just one game yet to be played?

Entering the Conference Championship games last weekend the standings in the South Stands Annual NFL PIckoff VS the Spread looked like this:
Scott 126-124-10, Snyder 124-126-10, Colin 122-131-10, Reidy 111-142-10
Then we all picked the Championship games AND the over / unders:
New England @ Denver (-5) O/U 57
The entire season has all been for this – the perfect match up between the Pats and Broncos, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. This one should be a wide open game for both offenses. Vegas has the over / under set at 57 and the Broncos are favored by 5 at home on what looks to be a warm and sunny Sunday.
Colin’s pick: New England +5 / OVER
Reidy’s pick: Denver -5 / OVER
Snyder’s pick: Denver -5/OVER
Scott’s pick: New England +5 / OVER
San Francisco @ Seattle (-3.5) O/U 40
Where the AFC Championship game promises to be a shoot-out the NFC one should be a bit more of a defensive battle of wills. The ‘Niners bring a tough as nails D into Seattle where the Seahawks have proven that they can shut anybody down. The twelfth man certainly plays a role. It’s going to be loud in Seattle.
Colin’s pick: San Francisco +3.5 / UNDER
Reidy’s pick: San Francisco +3.5 / UNDER
Snyder’s pick: Seattle -3.5/OVER
Scott’s pick: San Francisco +3.5 / OVER
After all of that we have a TIE at the top of the heap between Scott Stafford and Snyder with just one game left to be played. They each sit at exactly .500, 127-127-10.
We will all be picking the Super Bowl (line and over / under) this week. Soon a winner will be determined – unless Scott and Snyder pick the Super Bowl the same.
