The Nuggets might as well just not play tonight
When the Nuggets go into Chesapeake Energy Arena tonight to play the Oklahoma City Thunder it will be the dreaded second road game in a back-to-back . They might as well just not play.
Everyone has left them for dead already.
Never mind their depth, forget that twelve game winning streak, this is one of those times you can add a dash to the “L” column and not use pencil.
They’re going to get beaten like redheaded stepchildren. It’s inevitable.
Unless it’s not.
A loss tonight would certainly be no surprise. But a win …. a win would be magical.
The Nuggets have an opportunity to do the truly impossible and to whip their fans into an absolute frenzy at the same time.
How can we rule it out?
These Denver Nuggets have surprised us before. So, even though the media seems to think that tonight’s outcome is written in the stars, let’s cheer them on as though we think they can get it done.
Maybe they will. 13 in a row? Wouldn’t that be cool?
See you at Stiffs Night Out.
