Tim Tebow aced his introductory press conference in New York. He had the big city media eating out of the palm of his hand – just like he did here, only even more impressively. Folks say he will have his hands full with them. It looks like they will have their hands full with him. He’s unshakable. Tebow 15, media 0.
I felt jealous. He’s our goofy handsome Christian not theirs. My kids and I were going to watch him develop in the starting role. He was going to make the Broncos unlikely winners.
Now they are expected to win. They have Peyton Manning. It’s a good thing, too. It would have been brutal to watch Tim Tebow anointed as a Jet without knowing that the Broncos had made an easy decision to expel him.
An hour ago I felt like Tebow was New York’s problem. After having seen him speak again I think he’s New York’s solution. Is there any question that he will eclipse Mark Sanchez? He will be drawn to the starting lineup like a magnet. Just ask Kyle Orton.
I wish him the best. I will root for Tim Tebow every time he plays unless it’s against my Broncos.
