Some NHL Logos on Uniforms Going Extinct

“The widely reviled crest — a legless bison that most fans associated with an invertebrate or a disembodied toupee — that had adorned the front of the Buffalo Sabres’ uniforms since 2006 is out.

“The widely reviled crest — a legless bison that most fans associated with an invertebrate or a disembodied toupee — that had adorned the front of the Buffalo Sabres’ uniforms since 2006 is out. The Sabres, celebrating their 40th anniversary, will now wear a version of their original uniform, a crest with a bison and crossed swords.”
