Bob Apodaca needs to be shit-canned and fast.
Instead, the Rockies are reportedly looking to move another pitcher that they have effectively ruined out of town.
Jeremey Guthrie, who’s ERA in Baltimore over four season was 3.7, 3.63, 5.04, 3.83 and 4.33 is reportedly on the chopping block. He’s apparently been offered to Toronto for a plate of poutine after being destroyed by the Rockies’ coaching staff. His ERA this season in Colorado? 7.02.

Apodaca has been the pitching coach here since 2002. He’s been here for a DECADE! And what have the Rox had to show for it? A list as long as your arm of arms that have left Colorado frustrated and resurected their careers somewhere else.
The Monfort Brothers’ willingness to hang onto Dan O’Dowd is head-slapping enough – but the fact that Apodaca is still here is mind-bending.
