Reviewing our week two NFL picks VS the spread
Week two can be trickers for gamblers where the NFL is concerned. It’s easy to get sucked in by your impressions from week one only to be proven wrong. Perhaps that’s why the pickers in the South Stands annual NFL pickoff VS the spread struggled a bit this week. Well, a couple of them did, anyway.
There were no “pushes” in week two. I pulled down the strongest showing for the second straight week, going 9-7 against the spread. John Reidy was right behind me at 8-8, dead even. Producer Scott Stafford and our Buddy Snyder each faultered, going 6-10 against the number.
For the season the records are as follows: Colin 19-12-1, Reidy 16-15-1, Snyder 11-20-1, Scott 15-16-1.
