Our week eight NFL picks VS the spread with guest picker, @PeterBurnsRadio
Another week – another round in the South Stands Denver Annual NFL pickoff VS the Spread.
This week our pickers, Colin (52-47-4), John (47-52-4), Producer Scott Stafford (45-54-4) and Snyder (50-49-4) welcome Peter Burns from Mile High Sports Radio as guest picker.
The fellows have had an up and down season, but our guest pickers have fared far worse. Brandon Spano, our guest picker from week 7, performed well, however, going 9-2-2 against the spread and taking second place behind Snyder for the week.
We will see if Burns can continue to improve upon the guest picker spot.

Tampa Bay @ Minnesota (-6.5)
The Buccaneers take their show on the road this week to visit the mighty Minnesota Vikings who are putting together a decent little season despite the struggles on one Christian Ponder. They’re likely a favorite on the strength of their ferocious defense.

The New England Patriots make their rather ironic trip into Jolly Old England this week for a clash with the St Louis Rams, who are technically the “home team” for this one.

Indianapolis @ Tennessee (-3.5)
The Titans haven’t missed a beat with Jake Locker on the bench. Even Chris Johnson is suddenly playing well for the Tennessee offense. Andrew Luck will have a chance to expose their horrible defense, though, when he brings his Colts to town.

A) the biggest line of the NFL season. The University of Colorado thinks the Jags are huge underdogs here.

Cleveland VS San Diego (-2.5)
Oh, look. The Chargers are a favorite on the road. If the Browns are lucky, San Diego will open up a 24-0 lead in this one. LOL! SUCK IT, CHARGERS!

Both of these NFL teams are coming off their bye. This should be a good game – and it’s a crucial one for the Eagles who have an opportunity to prove they still belong in the playoff conversation. Mike Vick faces the team that drafted him back before all that dog fighting stuff.
