Nugs’ simple, understated summer unis may be the highlight of their 2013

Colin D. | July 16, 2013

You have to hand it to Nuggets fans. They are veracious.

Despite the NBA season having recently halted and the blue and yellow having let everybody down by collapsing against the six seed in the first round of the playoffs, interest in Nuggets’ summer league play is quite high. Folks want to get a look at the new look Nugs’.

Things haven’t started out too well for our heroes of the hardwood, but they do look sharp in their rather austere summer uniforms. The white jerseys the team is sporting out in Vegas features a small round “mining” logo in the center of the chest area with baby blue numbers below and twin pencil-thin strips on each side. The shorts are simply white with matching blue stripes. These are fantastic looking uniforms, far more appealing than the “Lakers yellow” outfits the team revealed at the start of last season.

The summer league jerseys could prove to be the only good looking thing about the Nuggets this coming year.
