Nary an NBA expert can be found to dispute the assertion that the Denver Nuggets improved by hopping into the middle of the four-team trade that jettisoned Al Harrington and Arron Afflalo in favor of Andre Iguodala. Adding “Iggy” is widely considered to have been a stroke of genius on the part of Masai Ujiri.
The Nuggets might be better now, but we are going to miss Arron Afflalo. He’s a rare breed of NBA player in that he eschews “street talk” in favor of inspirational tomes on social media. Fotunately, fans can still follow him on Twitter (@arronafflalo) to draw from his positivity.
