It’s official: Von Miller is a liar
Von Miller lied.
He looked right into the cameras and told us all that he had done nothing wrong. That was a couple of weeks ago. Today he’s talking about “mistakes” he made which will cost the Broncos dearly. The second best player on the team will officially sit out the first six games of the season – more than a third of 2013.
The hopes for a Super Bowl are not gone. The Broncos will still be plenty good enough to conquer the weak AFC West and return to the playoffs at full strength. What is gone, however, is Von Miller’s innocence in the eyes of Broncos fans. The man we thought of us a generous and caring giver to our community has framed himself as a taker and as a liar. Number 58 jerseys will no longer be worn with the same pride.
