How many many Nuggets have one of Bill Simmons’ thirty worst NBA contracts?
We are big fans of Bill Simmons “the sports guy” around here. In fact, just this week on the Fancast John Reidy made the case that our site would not even exist if not for the pioneering efforts of guys like Bill. We’re not surprised, though, when we hear people criticise him.
It’s pretty tough to question Simmons’ expertise where the NBA is concerned. In his most recent column for Grantland, Simmons listed his thirty least favorite NBA contracts from a cap perspective.
In previous seasons it would have been likely that several Nuggets would be on the list. Al Harrington and Kenyon Martin pop to mind. But we’re pleased to report that only JaVale McGee made Simmons’ list.
On the flip side, Simmons also recently listed his thirty favorite NBA contracts.
Kenneth Faried, Ty Lawson and Corey Brewer were all named.
Way to go, Masai.
