Here’s your stupid Broncos / Jaguars prediction
“There’s simply no need for the Broncos to stay on the gas today.”

The phrase “any given Sunday” does not apply to today’s Broncos / Jaguars game. There’s zero chance that Jacksonville comes into Denver and steals a win. This game comes down to two things: can the Jaguars cover and will the Broncos avoid injuries.
As for the first question, I believe the answer is “yes”. There’s simply no need for the Broncos to stay on the gas today. They will use the early parts of the game as a warm-up for the Colts game next week and then they will call off the dogs. The coaching staff simply is not going to turn this game into a track meet. There’s no need.
Look for the Broncos to lead by around 24 points at the half. Call it 27-3.
Manning, Moreno and Denver’s other offensive starters will remain in the game for the first drive or two of the second half. The Broncos will push their lead up over 30 points and then begin to bench starters, beginning with Peyton Manning.
Chad Henne will throw, throw, throw in the second half, and find pay dirt a time or two. Look for Justin Blackmon to amass over 100 receiving yards and one to two TDs. The Jaguars will eat into Denver’s lead and ultimately cover the 27 point spread.
Final score: Denver 41, Jacksonville 24
