Fourteen in a row? Sure, why not? And a dandy win for CSU.

Colin D. | March 22, 2013

It was a basketball kind of night.

The Nuggets, who looked doomed all night, woke from their slumber and overcame a five point deficit with all of fourteen seconds left in their home game with the Sixers to emerge with the steal of the season, 101-100.

The Denver Nuggets have won fourteen in a row. Every streak involves a measure of good luck and tonight the Nuggets got some.

The CSU Rams needed no rally to beat Missouri in the first round of the NCAA tournament. They dominated from the opening tip. Final score: 84-72.

Chances are that will have been CSU’s final win of the post-season. For five seniors it will have been the last game of their college careers. Probably.

It was a nice night to kick back and watch some basketball. Thankfully, it all worked out just fine. Three cheers for 2013 – the greatest year ever for hoops in Colorado.
