Wow. The Denver Post’s Avalanche beat writer, Adrian Dater, is reporting that the team will bring back General Manager Greg Sherman and coach Joe Sacco next season. This despite another let-down of a year for the club.
“Sources close to the situation” tell Dater all this. The news is not likely to sit well with most Avs fans. There is a general feeling around Denver that management is not willing to make changes that the Avalanche need to have made if they are to become relevant again. The prospect of another season under Sacco is not very encouraging.
