Championship Sunday brings out the worst in some fans.
AJ Niss isn’t always happy with Twitter. Especially not today.

I’ve been on Twitter for a year now and I have seen some dumb things; but what I witnessed this weekend was disturbing.
Not through my twitter peeps, mind you, but from other people around the sports world.
I did some research today on what went down between San Francisco wide-out, Kyle Williams and some really, really dumb “fans”.
Like most people, I was watching the games over the weekend and admiring the players’ talents. And, like most people, I get upset when my team loses – or when a player on my team has a very very bad day.
I have never gone so far as to send “I hope you die” or “I hope you get cut from the team” Tweets.
I am a respectful person. I show respect to others, including the teams I love.
It shows what the world has come today and people can take things like a muffed punt way, way too seriously.
Now when it comes to gambling I don’t even go there. It takes the joy out of watching the game, in my opinion. You can get so frustrated at a play or a player. You might go out and do stupid things like what we saw people do last night on Twitter.
I don’t deal well with those type of people.
Luckly the internet is a very viral place and those people were exposed for the type of jerks they are. They will be dealt with very soon, hopefully by the police.
They need help and I hope they get help they need.
People need to learn that the things they say on the internet are very well documented.
THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK!!!!! Because it could land you in a jail cell!
