Cargo does the Rox a solid, bows out of Home Run Derby
Carlos Gonzolez has a sprained finger. Ouch. That’s why many Rockies fans were wondering why in the heck the slugger was slated to participate in the MLB All-Star Home Run Derby at Citi Field this coming Monday.
Luckily, Cargo has opted out. Instead, he will rest his hurty hand in anticipation of helping the Rockies contend in the NL West after the break. This is great news for fans hoping that the Rox still have a realistic shot at winning the division, as delusional as that may be.
