Call Dog the Bounty Hunter. TJ Ward is still on the lamb.
This is getting ridiculous.
New Broncos safety TJ Ward, signed as a free-agent from the Browns, is wanted by cops to answer for an altercation he was in outside of PT’s All-Nude, an 18-up no-booze strip club on Hampden Ave in East Denver. Ward reportedly smuggled booze into the club, was confronted by staff and ended up in some kind of scuffle. A warrant was issued for Ward’s arrest.
One would have thought that Ward would have shown up to face his charge in the quiet of the night on Thursday, but no. As of this morning he remains “on the lamb”.
The Broncos need to reel Ward in and get this matter under control. Maybe they should call Dog the Bounty Hunter because the last thing the team needs is to let the situation linger. After the off-season the Broncos suffered through last year they need 2014 to be as “normal” as possible.
As for Ward, he’s not off to a very good start as a Bronco.
