A Swedish pop tune is now the anthem for the Rockies 2014 season

Colin D. | May 23, 2014

Earlier this week Mike Krukow of CSN Bay-Area, the TV home of the San Francisco Giants, famously accused the Rockies and slugger Troy Tulowitzki of cheating. Krukow told a radio host: “I swear he must be getting signs”.

Tulo’s response to the accusations was glorious. Yesterday rather than walking up to “I’m the man” by Aloe Blacc (which is a terrible, awful piece of crap) as he has all season, Tulo instead had the audio crew switch his walk-up song to Ace of Base’s “I saw the sign”.

As friend of the Fancast Zach Fogg pointed out on Twitter Tulo’s troll game was as impressive as his season. The song is now the anthem for the Rockies’ 2014 season. And, as Mark Kiszla mentioned on the radio this morning, the humor with which the Rox have handled the situation is an encouraging “sign”.
