The Jacksonville Jaguars have won a mere 11 games over the past three seasons. Fans of the team have to be commended for sticking around and continuing to support this struggling franchise. Tuning in to see that flaming pile of garbage year after year has to be a tough pill to swallow. Perhaps that is why the Jaguars have just unveiled plans for a party deck like no other.
The Jags took out 9,500 seats in the north end zone and are replacing them with a two-level party deck, a la Rockies, which includes two pools and 16 cabanas, complete with all the outdoor furniture. The four poolside cabanas will rent for $12,500 a game or $250 a person. This would include 50 tickets to the game and unlimited food and drink. A similar package of 20 tickets on the upper level without access to the pool costs $3,000 a game or $150 a person.
Apparently they saw the Rockies party deck and raised them a few. As of now, 65 percent of the cabanas have been sold for the 2014 season. It looks like they’ve joined the Rockies in their mantra of if you can’t get a winning team, then get folks in the door and liquor them up.
I hope the fans take advantage of this amazing in-house feature before the team gets moved to London.
