Colin D. | December 12, 2013

We have a tie at the top in our annual NFL pickoff VS the spread as well as a rising Snyder to contend with. Things have gotten interesting entering the final stretch of the regular season. To make things even more entertaining, we’re joined this week by Denver Sports Nation’s Adam Kinney (@DSNAdam)

Here’s how our pickers see week fifteen coming together.

San Diego @ Denver (-10.5)
For the Chargers the playoffs begin on Thursday night. They’re going to have to win out if they want to out-race the Dolphins and Ravens for the sixth seed in the AFC. The Broncos must stave off the Patriots to insure home-field in the playoffs.
Colin’s pick: Denver -10.5
Reidy’s pick: Denver -10.5
Snyder’s pick: Denver -10.5
Scott’s pick: Denver -10.5

Adam’s pick: San Diego + 10.5

Washington @ Atlanta (-6.5)
It’s hard to imagine the Falcons being big favorites over any team, but the Redskins are just that bad. Kirk Cousins gets the start for Shanny over RGIII.
Colin’s pick: Atlanta -6.5
Reidy’s pick: Washington +6.5
Snyder’s pick: Washington +6.5
Scott’s pick: Atlanta -6.5

Adam’s pick: Washington +6.5
Tampa Bay VS San Francisco (-5.5)
As badly as the season started for Tampa and for their head coach, Greg Schiano, the Bucs are suddenly playing like contenders. They can’t make the post-season but they can play spoiler at home to the ‘Niners this week.
Colin’s pick: Tampa Bay +5.5
Reidy’s pick: Tampa Bay +5.5
Snyder’s pick: San Fran -5.5
Scott’s pick:  San Fran -5.5.

Adam’s pick: San Fran -5.5
Tennessee VS Arizona (-2.5)
The Titans’ playoff hopes were dashed last week when they took a beating from the Broncos. They’re playing for pride at this point. Not the Cards, though. They need a win to stay in the hunt.
Colin’s pick: Arizona -2.5
Reidy’s pick: Arizona -2.5
Snyder’s pick: Arizona -2.5
Scott’s pick: Arizona -2.5

Adam’s pick: Tennessee +2.5
St Louis VS New Orleans (-5.5)
The Rams are one of a handful of good bad teams in the NFC. They aren’t playoff contenders but they seem capable of beating anybody. They will certainly be put to the test this week with the mighty Saints coming to town.
Colin’s pick: New Orleans -5.5
Reidy’s pick: New Orleans -5.5
Snyder’s pick: New Orleans -5.5
Scott’s pick: New Orleans -5.5

Adam’s pick: New Orleans -5.5
NY Giants VS Seattle (-7)
The Giants have not been completely eliminated from playoff contention yet, but they certainly will be if they lose this week to the favored Seahawks who are playing to remain seeded #1.
Colin’s pick: NY Giants +7
Reidy’s pick: NY Giants +7
Snyder’s pick: NY Giants +7
Scott’s pick: NY Giants +7

Adam’s pick: NY Giants +7

Chicago @ Cleveland (-1.5)
Jay Cutler should return as the Bears’ starter when they head into icy Cleveland this weekend for a game in which the Browns are narrowly favored.
Colin’s pick: Chicago +1.5
Reidy’s pick: Chicago +1.5
Snyder’s pick: Chicago +1.5
Scott’s pick: Chicago +1.5

Adam’s pick: Chicago +1.5
Houston @ Indianapolis (-6)
The Texans should make every effort to lose each of their last three games. Indy needs wins, though. This should be a blowout.
Colin’s pick: Indianapolis -6
Reidy’s pick: Indianapolis -6
Snyder’s pick: Indianapolis -6
Scott’s pick: Indianapolis -6

Adam’s pick: Indianapolis -6
Jacksonville VS Buffalo (-2)
The Jaguars are the NFL’s most improves team over the past month, but they are still slight underdogs at home to the Bills.
Colin’s pick: Jacksonville +2
Reidy’s pick: Jacksonville +2
Snyder’s pick: Jacksonville +2
Scott’s pick:  Buffalo -2

Adam’s pick: Jacksonville +2
Miami VS New England (-2.5)
The Patriots are without their two stud TEs for the rest of the season. One’s hurt and the other kills people. Still they are favored at Miami this week where the Dolphins are wrestling to stay in the picture.
Colin’s pick: Miami +2.5
Reidy’s pick: New England -2.5
Snyder’s pick: New England -2.5
Scott’s pick: New England -2.5

Adam’s pick: New England -2.5
Minnesota VS Philadelphia (-4.5)
Don’t look now but Philly may be playoff-bound. They cannot afford to lose any games, though – especially not to the Vikings without Adrian Peterson
Colin’s pick: Philadelphia -4.5
Reidy’s pick: Philadelphia -4.5
Snyder’s pick: Minnesota +4.5
Scott’s pick: Philadelphia -4.5

Adam’s pick: Philadelphia -4.5
NY Jets @ Carolina (-11)
The biggest number of the week goes to Jets at Panthers for obvious reasons.
Colin’s pick: Carolina -11
Reidy’s pick: Carolina -11
Snyder’s pick: Carolina -11
Scott’s pick: NY Jets +11

Adam’s pick: NY Jets +11
Oakland VS Kansas City (-4)
It’s an old-fashioned AFC West clash as the Chiefs travel to the black hole hoping to stay on track against the Raiders who have no playoff aspirations but would love to play the spoiler role.
Colin’s pick: Kansas City -4
Reidy’s pick: Kansas City -4
Snyder’s pick: Kansas City -4
Scott’s pick: Kansas City -4

Adam’s pick: Oakland +4
Green Bay @ Dallas (off)
Colin’s pick:
Reidy’s pick:
Snyder’s pick:
Scott’s pick:
Pittsburgh VS Cincinnati (-3)
The Bengals are slight favorites at the Steelers – whose playoff hopes were dashed in week fourteen.
Colin’s pick: Cincinnati -3
Reidy’s pick: Cincinnati -3
Snyder’s pick: Pittsburgh +3
Scott’s pick: Cincinnati -3

Adam’s pick: Cincinnati -3
Baltimore @ Detroit (-6)
This battle between AFC and NFC teams hold massive significance for both in terms of post-season seeding. Should be a good one.
Colin’s pick: Baltimore +6
Reidy’s pick: Detroit -6
Snyder’s pick: Detroit -6
Scott’s pick: Baltimore +6

Adam’s pick: Baltimore +6
