Our week fourteen NFL picks VS the spread
Reidy has been getting sacked lately in the South Stands annual NFL pickoff VS the spread. Can he pick himself up, dust himself off and get back in the game the way that our buddy Snyder has?
Here’s how the fellows see it going down this week.

Jacksonville VS Houston (-3)
The Texans are road favorites in this pile of shit game on Thursday night, although it would behoove them to tank it in order to secure the first overall pick in the 2014 draft. Johnny Football anyone?
Colin’s pick: Jacksonville +3
Reidy’s pick: Houston -3
Snyder’s pick: Houston -3
Scott’s pick: Houston -3
Washington VS Kansas City (-3.5)
The Redskins can forget making it to the playoffs. At this point they’re all just trying to keep their jobs. KC needs the win here against a team that has packed it in.
Colin’s pick: Washington +3.5
Reidy’s pick: Washington +3.5
Snyder’s pick: KC -3.5
Scott’s pick: Kansas City -3.5
Minnesota @ Baltimore (-7)
The Vikings feature the league’s only single-player offense. Can Adrian Peterson run versus the Ravens?
Colin’s pick: Baltimore -7
Reidy’s pick: Voldemort -7
Snyder’s pick: Baltimore -7
Scott’s pick: Baltimore -7
Cleveland @ New England (-11.5)
The Patriots have been impressive in playing through injuries this season. Now they are healthy and hosting the crappy Browns who are yet to commit to a starter at QB.
Colin’s pick: New England -11.5
Reidy’s pick: New England -11.5
Snyder’s pick: Browns +11.5
Scott’s pick: New England -11.5
Oakland @ NY Jets (-3)
The Jets are fabulously terrible – but at least they’re at home. The Raiders come to twon week 14 for a good old fashioned suckfest.
Colin’s pick: Oakland +3
Reidy’s pick: Oakland +3
Snyder’s pick: Jets -3
Scott’s pick: Oakland +3
Indianapolis @ Cincinnati (-5.5)
At least one AFC match up matters this week. The Bengals and Colts are jockeying for playoff positioning this week in Cincy.
Colin’s pick: Cincinnati -5.5
Reidy’s pick: Cincinnati -5.5
Snyder’s pick: Indy +5.5
Scott’s pick: Cincinnati -5.5
Carolina @ New Orleans (-3.5)
This should be a better game than NO at SEA, hopefully. A win could place the Panthers atop the NFC South and possibly help them earn a playoff bye.
Colin’s pick: Carolina +3.5 (NOLA Wins)
Reidy’s pick: Carolina +3.5
Snyder’s pick: New Orleans -3.5
Scott’s pick: New Orleans -3.5
Detroit @ Philadelphia (-3)
The Lions are a hard team to nail down – inconsistent from one week to the next. They face Foles and Iggles at their place where they hope to hang with Dallas in the East.
Colin’s pick: Philadelphia -3
Reidy’s pick: Philadelphia -3
Snyder’s pick: Philly -3
Scott’s pick: Philadelphia -3
Miami @ Pittsburgh (-3)
Don’t look now but the Steelers could still make the playoffs. First they have to stop Ryan Tannehill and the not-too-shabby ‘Phins at home
Colin’s pick: Pittsburgh -3
Reidy’s pick: Pittsburgh -3
Snyder’s pick: Pittsburgh -3
Scott’s pick: Pittsburgh -3
Buffalo @ Tampa Bay (-2.5)
Neither of these two squads is nearly as bad as its record would indicate. Both have begun to take shape late in the season.
Colin’s pick: Tampa Bay -2.5
Reidy’s pick: Buffalo +2.5
Snyder’s pick: Tampa Bay -2.5
Scott’s pick: Tampa Bay -2.5
Tennessee @ Denver (-12)
The Titans are not out of the race for the playoffs. In fact, they are currently the sixth seed. Beating Denver will be a tall order, though, even if it is super cold.
Colin’s pick: Tennessee +12
Reidy’s pick: Tennessee +12
Snyder’s pick: Denver +12
Scott’s pick: Denver -12
St Louis @ Arizona (-6.5)
The Rams are one of the good bad teams in the NFL. They travel to Phoenix this week to clash with their division rivals, who appear to be headed for a post-season berth
Colin’s pick: St Louis +6.5
Reidy’s pick: St Louis +6.5
Snyder’s pick: AZ -6.5
Scott’s pick: St Louis +6.5
NY Giants @ San Diego (-3)
The Chargers fans always get up for games when Eli Manning comes to town since he warned the Chargers not to draft him. The loser of this one can all but forget the playoffs.
Colin’s pick: NY Giants +3
Reidy’s pick: San Diego -3
Snyder’s pick: San Diego -3
Scott’s pick: San Diego -3
Seattle @ San Francisco (-2.5)
The Seahawks must travel beyond the oh-so-friendly confines of their home stadium this week – and on a short week. Will they be dealt a second loss?
Colin’s pick: Seattle +2.5
Reidy’s pick: Seattle +2.5
Snyder’s pick: San Fran -2.5
Scott’s pick: Seattle +2.5
Atlanta @ Green Bay (off)
No line here since there is no word yet on Aaron Rodger’s availability. Updates as events warrant.

Vegas has no favorite in the Monday nighter. It’s a big one for both teams. Jay Cutler is not expected back for the Bears.
