Perhaps the most important sports person in Colorado, the very man who helped convince Peyton Manning to choose Denver, the big play making, ageless veteran who has served multiple stints with the Broncos, Castle Rock’s Brandon Stokley has signed with the hated Baltimore Ravens. This is the last straw.
First the Ravens swooped in to sign Elvis Dumervil, the embattled Denver linebacker with the awkward contract issues. This after the same Baltimore team ripped the hearts right out of Broncos fans at Mile High in January. Now they have come for our cast-off wideout, who was replaced and deemed no longer necessary thanks to the signing of Wes Welker by the Broncos.
Stokley never should have been allowed to get away – at least not until the very last round of cuts. For him to have been left dangling for Baltimore to just come along and take is disgusting. That the Ravens, of all teams, opted to provide his next opportunity is too much to take.
They’re going down and going down hard.

If the Broncos, rather than the Ravens, start the season 0-1 the taste left in our mouths will be so bitter that the 2013 season will have been ruined before it was even given a chance to begin.
The Broncos simply cannot lose that game. Especially not now.
Screw the Raiders. The Broncos real rivals in the modern era hail from the same low-down city as the Barksdale clan. And up until now those scavenging black birds have picked at our corpse. They cannot, the will not be allowed to continue. Pull their wings off. Knock out their teeth. Drown them in a pool of their own greasy blood. Roast the useless Ravens over orange fire tipped with blue and watch their eyes explode.
On Thursday, September 5 the Broncos must make the Baltimore Ravens pay dearly for all that they have taken from us. Brandon Stokley was only the latest theft. So what if he played there before. Who cares if he won a ring with the Ravens? Stokley is ours and we aren’t going to stand for this shit any longer.
