The Monster of Mile High? Broncos talking to Urlacher
This is not the first time we at the South Stands have wondered if long-time Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher could potentially join the Broncos for the final season or two of his storied career. We have been sniffing around the subject since he first decided not to accept Chicago’s offer.
Now a report at Pro Football Talk says that the enormous bald guy has narrowed his choices for a new team down to the Vikings and the Broncos.
Minnesota offers Urlacher an opportunity to play in the NFL North where he can be sure to face the Bears twice per season. The Broncos clearly give him the best chance at a second ring. In Denver he could join Peyton Manning as a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer looking for a little more glory.
