TV Spotlight: CU’s Emily Talley to Appear on The Big Break
Golf Channel’s hit reality competition show, The Big Break starts another season tonight, this time set in the exotic locale of Riviera Maya, Mexico.
The show will feature 12 professional golfers ready to pursue their dreams of playing on either the PGA or LPGA Tours. Six men and six women will be competing in a mixed team format with the ultimate prize being an exemption to play either on the 2013 OHL Classic for the men or the 2013 Lorena Ochoa Invitational for the women.
The youngest cast member this season at just 22 years old is former University Colorado golfer Emily Talley. While playing for CU, Talley won the athlete of the year honors for the University, as well as an All-American Honorable Mention for 2012.
