April foolishness: MILLIONAIRE MAMA’S BOY!?
Here’s a story that will make you check your calendar. But, check as you will, April 1st was three days ago. This is no joke.
JaVale McGee actually is getting a reality show … along with his mother, Pam. And Oprah is making it.
Move over fiction, here comes truth.
According to the Oprah Winfrey Network (OLN), “The new OWN series “Millionaire Mama’s Boy” explores the dynamic relationship between former WNBA basketball star Pamela McGee and her 25-year-old son, Denver Nuggets center, JaVale McGee….Ultimately, it’s a show about family, love and the unbreakable bond between a mother and her son; all seven feet of him.”
This would sound absolutely horrible if not for the fact that the show will feature JaVale. He’s America’s most beloved goofball athlete. It will also bring a little extra national attention to the Denver Nuggets, which is nice.
