Here’s your stupid Rockies season prediction
As far as the Colorado Rockeis are concerned, I am content to assume that things can’t possibly get any worse than they were last year.
The Road to 100 losses was not much fun from a fan perspective. It made for goofy sports radio fodder, but it’s not something anybody wants to get used to. This season the Rocks return healthier and, while the pitching staff is nothing to write home about, they should be able to post runs with an impressive lineup of hitters. The return of Tulo alone should contribute to a greater number of wins.
There’s not been a sense of optimism in the air, but still people seem glad to have Rockies baseball back.
I believe that our boys of summer are going to make significant strides this season. I believe that the Rockies will finish just above .500 under the leadership of Walt Weiss. Put me down for 83 wins.
