Will the Nugs make it ten straight in Bean Town?

Colin D. | February 10, 2013

The City of Boston is digging out from one heck of a snow storm. Still, the Nuggets made it there safely. They’re preparing to play the Celtics this afternoon in the second of back to back road games after soundly defeating the Cavs last night. It was Denver’s ninth straight victory.

A win today at the Garden would make ten in a row for the Blue and Yellow, a significant milestone. It would also insure that the worst they could do on the current road trip is lose half of the four games before the All Star break.

My good friend  Nate Timmons of Denver Stiffs predicts a narrow Nugs victory. I can’t say that I am quite as optimistic. I’m inclined to think that the team will fall victim to George Karl’s own cynicism. I believe that they’ll drop this one and win their next two. I hope I am wrong, however.

A win today would definitely bring the spot light to the Nuggets who have been the hottest team in the NBA of late. They deserve the national attention that a defeat of the Celtics would earn them.
