Here’s your stupid Broncos / Saints prediction
The Browns took down the Chargers in their early game, so the outcome of Broncos / Saints is slightly less significant for Denver. Will the Broncos take advantage of the chance to pull away in the division – or will they let the desperate Saints come in and get a win?
Here’s how I see this one going down.
Slow starts have been a real problem for your Denver Broncos.
Emerging from their bye week, I believe they will have addressed this. Foxy and Co know that the Saints offense can score points in bunches. The Broncos will open this game up early with the goal of trying to choke the Saints off in the second half. The game will remain close, throughout though.
Each squad will score a TD on its first possession. Joel Dreessen will score first for the Broncos, Colston for the Saints.
The Broncos will force one three and out and score one field goal in the first period. They will lead 10-7 heading into the second.
The Saints will stroke back, making it 14-10 after Darren Sproles takes a quick pass to the house, capitalizing on the Broncos poor tackling.
Willis McGahee will answer with a short rushing TD to make it 17-14 at the half.
The game’s first turnover will occur early in the third period. The Broncos will pick Brees on a bomb.
After Prater scores his second field goal the Broncos will lead 20-14.
Then the Saints will score another touchdown on a pass by Brees caught by either Jimmy Graham or another Saints TE. 21-20 Saints
From this point Peyton Manning will go absolutely nuts.
The Broncos will score the next 14 points to make it 34-21.
The Saints will punch it in once more late in the game to make it 34-28 Broncos.
Then, the Saints will have a late possession with a chance to win the game – but they will fall just short.
Victory formation for the Broncos.
Final Score: 34-28 Broncos. 6-point win will make the game a push in Vegas and the Broncos will advance to 4-3, 1.5 games up on the Chargers in division.
