Let me tell how the Broncos season will go…

As predicted on last week’s fancast, I surmised the Denver Broncos would cruise to an 11-5 record based on the information thrown at me. And then, after thinking about it, I realized that was absurd. So I took another look at the schedule and broke it down on my own. Did I come up with the same record? Read on gentle South Stander and find out.

Steelers W
The first regular season game with PFM at the helm of your Denver Broncos will prove too much for the Steelers and the Broncos will win in fairly convincing fashion 27-20.

@ Falcons L
Coming off the high of the first win of the new era will result in a sugar high crash as the Broncos go to Atlanta and get rolled by a white hot Falcons team. It will be close but the broncos will run out of time as they close the gap. 20-31

Texans W
The Broncos get back on track against the Texans with the help of some Mile High home cooking. Arian Foster will probably have his way with the Broncos D but the home team will win in a shoot out 31-28.

Raiders W
The train keeps a rollin and the Broncos thump the hapless Raiders who’ll make a game of it late fall to the good guys 34-30.

@ Patriots L
The road woes continue as the Broncos travel to Foxborough and let the Pats slip away late 31-24 L

@ Chargers W
But the road skid comes to a halt at the Broncos head back west and take on perennial AFC West nemesis Phyllis Rivers. Ryan Matthews? Who cares? Broncos brutalize the Bolts 24-10.

Saints W
Recharged after the bye week, the Bronocs welcome in the tumultuous Saints and squeak one out 28-21.

@ Bengals W
AJ Green meet Champ Bailey. The Bengals will put up a fight but this will be a low scoring affair featuring the Broncos running game and defensive backfield. Broncos win 17-14.

@ Panthers L
Cam Newton has a little surprise for the Broncos as he uses his feet and his arm to upset the Broncos 20-17.

Chargers W
The Chargers will be up for this one but they will fall short in this shout out at Mile High. Broncos win 34-28.

@ Chiefs L
The Chiefs will be gunning for the Broncos and that top spot n the AFC West at this point. The Broncos won’t be able to handle Jamaal Charles and Peyton Hillis and fall in KC 27-28.

Bucs W
Tampa Bay makes the long trek out west to meet a pissed off Broncos squad that defeats them 17-35.

@ Raiders W
Denver goes back out on the road and beats an improved yet fundamentally flawed Raiders team 17-13.

@ Baltimore L
We all know what awaits the Broncos in “Valdemort.” Ray Rice will make everyone in Denver lament the run defense and PFM will eake out a measly 2 TD’s. Broncos lose 17-24.

Browns W
But there’s nothing like the cure all that is the Cleveland Browns to heal your wounds after a loss. The Browns will be feisty at first but will be the Browns you remember after the half. Broncos win 34-24.

Chiefs W
This one may or may not be for all the marbles in the AFC West but depending on that and if everyone from both teams is upright at this point, the Broncos win a thriller 31-28.

And there you have it. I may have changed some of the wins around, but I still came up with 11-5. I think 10-6 is probably more feasible, but as a fan expecting big things, I’ll take the former. Won’t you?
