With thier first round pick in tonight’s NBA Draft the Denver Nuggets selected a 19 year-old who, if he ever actually plays for them, is certain to be a hot with the white girl. He’s French, ladies and gents. And he’s good lookin’ even if he is all skin and bones.
Evan Fournier apparently played pro ball in the “French League” and, according to Ben Hochman, shoots lights out from three-point range.
He may not don the powder blues anytime soon, however. There’s rampant speculation that Pepe Le New may be left to play in Europe for a while longer while Nuggets brass thin the herd. They have too many middling players to make room for an up and comer.
Perhaps Fournier can spend another season rooting for his favorite team, the L.A. Lakers.
