It’s (sort of) official. Peyton Manning will be known in Denver as “P.F.M.”
We don’t know exactly who to credit for coining Peyton Manning’s new nickname but we have heard it tossed around since that wild Friday back in March when we first heard that the quarterback was visiting Denver….
Peyton Friggin’ Manning. P.F.M.
Perhaps Vic Lombardi first used it. It might have been the guys at the Fan, Dmac and the rest.
Regardless, it will stick. It’s important that we welcome Manning to Colorado and that we make him our own. The new nickname is an important step in that direction. And … since this is the internet … we at the South Stands will go ahead and do what the others can’t and call him Peyton Fucking Manning, thank you very much.
