Don’t sleep on the State’s best sports story
If it bleeds it leads. Meanwhile Coach Tim Miles has the CSU Rams mens Basketball team playing out of their minds.
Hey, i’ll admit it. I just jumped on the CSU bandwagon. Don’t worry. There’s plenty of room.
Despite the fact that the Rams took on #18 in the Nation last night in the New Mexico Lobos, Moby Arena wasn’t sold out. Good seats were available for a fifth of the price you might pay to watch the Avalanche go through the motions at Pepsi Center.
I didn’t even know where to watch the Rams on TV until somebody on Twitter directed me to the Mountain (Comcast channel 411).
Coach Miles’ squad put on a show, defeating New Mexico 71-63 only days after taking care of Wyoming.
The Mountain West conference is a jumble and getting tighter all the time. By defeating number 1 NM last night, the Rams pulled pulled the Lobos back toward the pack just a bit; although, they still lead with an 8-3 conference record. CSU is ranked 4th with and overall record of 17-9, 6-5 in conference.
The Rams face San Diego State on Saturday night on the road, return to Moby for UNLV next Wednesday and close out the regular season at Air Force on March 3rd.
The Conference Championships March 8th in Las Vegas.
