It should come as no surprise to anyone that John Elway endorses Mitt Romney for President. He’s a rich white guy – it’s what they do.
The entire Broncos organization has been closely involved with the Republican party pretty much since the 1960’s. The President of the Company, Joe Ellis, is George W Bush’s cousin for God’s sake. Nobody suspects for one moment that the team’s owner, Pat Bowlen is any kind of a bleeding heart.
It’s a free Country, right? We should all be allowed to vote for whomever we wish.
Regardless, idiots are flipping the fuck out on Twitter, blasting John Elway. I trolled through some of the Tweets addressed to @JohnElway this morning just to see how they compared to the mentions old number seven got back when he traded Tebow.
Let’s just say that they have a pretty similar ring to them. Here are a few prime examples:
