This just in: J.R. Smith is a dumbass
It’s close to noon so you have probably already heard that JR Smith was arrested last night in Miami Beach on an outstanding bench warrant.
The idiot was popped a year ago for cruising the area on a rented scooter without a drivers license. The jackass was scheduled to appear in court in July and, like the half-wit he is, Smith simply didn’t show up. Judges love that kind of thing. A bench warrant was issued.
He must have assumed that the cops there either have a short memory or that they would not recognize a 20-something NBA player with a “Young Money” tattoo on his neck because he was spotted driving around AGAIN without a license. Lord knows he couldn’t have afforded to hire a driver with his millions and millions of dollars in ill-gotten basketball money.
Smith’s license has been suspended ever since he was sited for reckless driving in 2007 after getting into an accident that cost his pal, Andre Bell, his life.
