We have all been speculating as to what could have possibly changed to cause the Colorado Rockies to turn things around so suddenly, winning 7 of their past 10 games after having fallen on their faces in prior weeks.
Was it the release of Jamie Moyer? Have they been stepping up in Tulo’s absence? It turns out that their about-face has nothing to do with either of those things.
The Rockies were struggling – then they were like baby, baby, baby, oooooooh.
It turns out that a huge cardboard cutout of teen singing sensation Justin Bieber now graces the Rockies clubhouse. A word bubble taped to it says simply: “Swag”.
That’s right. The Rockies have rediscovered their swag thanks to the Biebs.
