Please not Kansas City. Oh please, God, no.

If Jesus loves Tim Tebow Peyton Manning will NOT be a Chief.

Brandon Spano has me all worked up. I am listening to his evening show on Mile High Sports Radio.  Why wouldn’t I? The Avalanche already lost and the Nuggets aren’t playing. Screw it.

He says that the Chiefs are the only team to make Peyton Manning a formal offer. He’s a making a big deal of it, as a matter of fact. He’s a radio guy. He has to.

Meanwhile, Channel 4’s Vic Lombardi keeps on throwing logs on the Manning-to-Denver fire via Twitter. The Broncos, he says, are real players.

Kansas City, it seems, has opened the bidding. That doesn’t mean that the auction is over. I am worried, though. I think it might be time to get down on one knee and pray that Peyton Manning does not sign with the Chiefs.

Miami – that’s fine. He can take his talents to South Beach. Arizona – perfect. The Cardinals play in the NFC West. They only become a problem if we get to the Superbowl. Wherever that sun of a gun Manning goes he is going to light it up – for a while, anyway. I am convinced of that.

I am a Broncos fan. I know how good that friggin’ guy is. He eviscerated us.

As long as he has an ounce of strength left, Peyton’ll will his next team to a completely different level of competitiveness. One look at the 2011 Colts is evidence enough of the difference he makes to a team. They were pathetic without Manning.

The last thing the Broncos need is Manning V Tebow twice a season.

Oh, please God, no.

Tim has done his service unto you, Lord. You can’t do that to him – throw him to that Lion …or Chief as the case may be.  Spare him.  AND US!

I don’t care what Brandon Spano says. Manning will be great again. The guy is an ox. And if he’s great in Kansas City (where certain people in Denver are from) – he will make our lives miserable. He will strike his wrath down upon the Broncos. That’s the last thing anybody wants to see.
