Here’s your stupid Broncos VS Colts prediction

Real, honest-to-goodness regular-season Broncos football is finally back. It’s been a long off-season for suffering fans of the Orange and Blue who cannot wait to see the 2014 rendition of the team blow the dust off and take to the field. Naturally, the football gods have Denver opening in prime time, this time against Andrew Luck and Peyton’s old Indianapolis Colts.

As you might recall, the Colts were victorious in last season’s over-hyped meeting with the Broncos. The week leading up to the game, which was in Indy, was an emotional one for number 18. Hopefully, that game allowed the veteran to put his history with his former squad behind him. This one is in Denver and Manning will be looking to show the world that he never should have been allowed to stray from the Midwest.

The way I project the Broncos winning tonight will highlight Manning’s skills per usual. He will have no fewer than three TD passes and probably four on his way to a blowout win over the Colts. Nationally folks are predicting that tonight’s game will be close but I don’t see it that way. I think the Broncos will throw up over forty points.

It will be the Broncos’ enhanced defense that will be the story, though. Andrew Luck will be hassled all night long, sacked at least three times and intercepted twice. The Colts will score hardly 20 points, maybe even fewer.

Look for the Broncos to erase some of the doubts that linger about them after the Super Bowl by absolutely decimating a fellow playoff team at Mile High Stadium on a picture-perfect Denver evening.

Broncos 42, Colts 20
