Perfectly seasoned and lightly breaded, these are Colin’s fantasy nuggets for NFL week 3.

Got Peyton? Good for you. Denver’s gunslinger is going to captain plenty of championship fantasy teams this year – and one real one. Manning is making two Thomas-es, a Decker and a Welker every week no-brainer starts, but stay away from those Denver running backs unless you like playing rock-paper-scissors with your lineup. The Denver DST is certainly owned in your league, but is a nice little play week in and week out.

Heroes to zeroes (literally): Jermichael Finley, James Starks, Daryl Richardson, Kenny Britt, Isaac Redman, Hakeem Nicks, Vernon Davis, Brandon Pettigrew.

Heart breakers: Arian Foster, CJ Spiller, Eli Manning, Andre Johnson, Dwayne Bowe, Victor Cruz, Vincent Jackson, TY Hilton, Mike Wallace and Andre Roberts.

Did you get Cammed this week? Don’t feel too badly, happens to the best of us. Lots of folks got Cam-meroned in week three, too. Jordon is the truth for Cleveland and moves into the #3 spot in the TE power rankings. Welcome back, Josh Gordon. Drew Brees was the man in week three, his TD run gives him the edge over Peyton Manning. Demarco Murray made some people look really smart with 175 and a touch. David Wilson is still a nice buy-low candidate after his big TD run got called back. Just when you thought it was safe to bench Kenbrell Thompkins…hey, CJ2K is still a burner, but he’s about as useful to your fantasy team as Kenny Britt. Own Britt? Hope he gets traded. JOIQUE! It’s fun to say JOIQUE! And, if you have JOIQUE on your fantasy team you’re loving the value. A top ten back in … what, the ninth round? Beautiful. Jimmy Graham is just silly. Sidney Rice is still on the waiver wire in some leagues, but he won’t be for long. You can go ahead and bench your Steelers (maybe not Antonio Brown). Shady McCoy continues to trot toward the fantasy MVP trophy.
