Can Drew Pomeranz help stop the bleeding?

Colin D. | June 28, 2013

The starting pitchers for the Colorado Rockies have been … mmmm…okay so far this season. They’ve held their own. Still, the Rockies are making a move. The club will (finally) bring Drew Pomeranz up. He’s pitching at Coors Field on Sunday against the Giants.

The youngster has been solid in C Springs so the big club is ready to get another look. Juan Nicasio isn’t getting it done.

Colorado has got to stop the bleeding if they want to remain in the thick of things in the NL West. Unfortunately, it’s the bullpen that needs the most attention. Perhaps the Rockies can use Nicasio in middle relief. We shall see.
