Buffs issue final “Fuck You, Hawkins”
Dan Hawkins got to sit in the stands at Fulsom to see the kids play like they never played for him – even his own kid.
It’s officially OK to root for CU again. Not that I am going to. Today I was rooting for Hawkins to get bitch slapped by his former players. And he did.
CU Football issued it’s final “fuck you, Hawkins” today, beating Iowa State 34-14 – actually preserving a 4th quarter lead while coach-until-McCartney, Brian Cabral looked on. Cabral shed tears when the game ended, joyful as he was to shove this one up Hawkins’ ass.
Hawkins son Cody, who stayed behind to QB the team that kicked his pops to the curb, kicked ass, completing 16 of 24 for 266 yards. Cody’s performance seemed to say “fuck you, Dad. I wish they had canned your ass before we coughed up 45 4th quarter points last fucking week – then maybe we would be in Bowl contention.”
Brian Cabral said after the game:”I thought for a team that was heartbroken, to continue to practice the way they did, they continued to gain momentum through the week.” Heartbroken? Shit. These kids are elated. The whole program is elated. Motherfucking Hawkins is finally gone. Party time.
