Another multi-millionaire arrested for DUI. This time it’s DJ Williams
What DJ Williams can afford is a Limo.
No word yet on DJ Williams’ B.A.C.. No word yet on whether or not he will be suspended by the Broncos or by the league. Very few details are available about the Broncos linebacker’s arrest this morning on charges of drunken driving. What we do know is that yet another idiot multi-millionaire athlete has been charged with the most preventable crime imaginable.
Williams was seen at the big Nuggets/Lakers game last night which, thanks to TNT, ended way, way, too late for most working people. Figure DJ left Pepsi center somewhere around 11:30 or midnight. Where he headed from there is anybodies guess but we can pretty safely assume it was a club. He was pulled over on Broadway at 2:50 am driving a Hummer. What else?
Why the fuck does anybody still drive a Hummer? Don’t tell me that DJ is a big dude so he needs a big car. A Lincoln is a big car. A Hummer is a gigantic asshole car. Anyone who drives a Hummer is all about being seen driving a Hummer. Why wouldn’t DJ want to be seen pulling up to the club in a limo? THAT is pimp. It’s also a no-brainer. This guy is loaded. He has millions of reasons to hire himself a driver.
Why would anyone driving drunk drive Broadway? Williams was pulled over in the 900 block. That’s where the highest concentration of cops in the entire Metro area can be found on any given night. Use Logan, jackass. Look, I am NOT condoning DUI. Far from it. I’m just sayin’ if you ARE driving drunk in a Hummer (we can assume it has rims) DON’T TAKE BROADWAY! What a moron.
This is the last thing the Broncos need headed into a division game that could potentially spoil any prayer the team might have of escaping 2010 with it’s coach intact. They could be a couple games out of first place with a win over Kansas City. It wouldn’t mean anything. They will still finish dead last in the AFC West. At least fans could feel better for a week.

What was it you said to the Denver Post after your last DUI in 2005? “I know now you’ve got to have a driver or somebody driving you around when you plan on going out like that.”
