Peyton Manning is having one hell of a season. Everybody knows that. But, if number eighteen can stay on the pace he is one after four games he will absolutely OWN the record books for his position.

The current record for TD passes in a season belongs to Tom Brady who had 50 tosses in 2007. Manning is on pace for 64, having averaged four per game in four games thus far.

The current record for pass completions in a season belongs to Drew Brees who had 468 in 2011. Manning is on pace for that exact same number, having has 117 total completions in four games this season.

The current record for passing yardage in a season also belongs to Drew Brees who in 2011, passed for 5,476 yards. At Manning’s current pace he will beat that record by four hundred yards with 5,880.

The current record for passer rating in a season (16 games) is 121.1. Manning already owns that record. His current pace is 134.7.

It’s safe enough to assume that Manning will fall off this incredible pace, but there are not really any indications to prove that he will. We are seeing something remarkable unfold.
