Reviewing our week one NFL picks VS the spread
The South Stands pickers could not be more excited to finally be embroiled in our annual NFL pickoff VS the spread. Our buddy Snyder won this contest last season by a narrow margin. He got off to a slow start then – and it turns out that he did the same again.
Colin Daniels was the victor in week one, amassing an extraordinary 10-5-1 record against the spread. The one “push” this week was the Bengals / Bears game in which Chicago was favored by and won by three.
Right behind Colin was Scott Stafford who pulled an impressive 9-6-1, followed by John Reidy who would was above .500 at 8-7-1. Our buddy Snyder brought up the rear at 5-10-1. He’ll crawl out of that hole quickly if history is any indication.
