Jason Giambi loves playing for Colorado - but he probably won't for much longer.

The MLB trade deadline is about three weeks away and most folks think that, before it comes, the Rockies will move Giambi. 

Troy Renck wrote about this today for the Denver Post. 

According to Renck's piece, Giambi probably would have been shipped off Philly last season if he hadn't injured his calf right before the deadline.

Giambi's contract is up at the end of this season - which is one reason to suspect that he's out of here. Marco Scutaro is in the same boat, as is Jeremy Guthrie. Renck believes all three are likely to be goners.

As Renck put it, "There won't be a mass exodus. But there will be some exits. This is what happens when teams fail to meet expectations and begin playing for next year in July."
