Two of the AFC’s premier teams battle each other on Sunday morning – and the Broncos are one of them. Here’s my prediction for how this important clash will unfold, quarter-by-quarter.
The race to the top of our Annual NFL pickoff VS the spread continues, and it's a close one! Snyder is still in the lead, but Producer Scott Stafford, John Reidy and Colin Daniels are all hot on his tail as we enter week fifteen. So how do the fellows see these games going down? Our picks after the jump.
It was another exciting week in the National Football League filled with surprises. As the season progresses it gets harder and harder to pick games versus the spread. There's just no telling who will cover and who will let you down.
This week we welcomed guest picker @OpieGoneMad to compete with our pickers in our Annual NFl Pickoff VS the Spread. He did well, but finished under .500 with a record of 7-8-1. Producer Scott Stafford equalled his effort.
Colin Daniels finished last this week, picking 5-10-1. Not good. John Reidy and Our Buddy, Snyder tied for the win at 8-7-1.
The season contest is tighter than RGIII's MCL. Snyder is still in the lead at 105-95-7 for the season. Reidy's close behind him at 102-98-7. Colin's one behind Reidy at 101-99-7 and Scott is one behind Colin at 100-100-7. The contest continues through the Playoffs and all the way to the Super Bowl.

You have to hand it to the handful of Raiders fans who hung out after watching the Broncos destroy their crappy team just to razz Von Miller while the NFL Network crew tried to interview him.
The Raiders may not be able to sell out their games, but they do have some old school crazy fans.
After a rather muted Raiders week, the Broncos head into the Black Hole tonight to face their most hated division foe. Rivalry? You betcha. We don't care what the media says, the hatred burns just as hot today as it ever did.
Here's how I see this one going down.
Our Annual NFL pickoff versus the spread is heating up, even though our pickers went ice cold in week 13. Five games separate first and fourth place as Colin, Reidy, Snyder and Scott plug away with victory on their minds.
Last week our pickers were decamated by our guest, @DSNAdam. Can this weeks guest picker @OpieGoneMad fare as well? We will see.
Our picks are, as they say on the internet, after the jump.
The NFL is a fickle, fickle mistress and week 13 was certainly evidence of that. Our pickers struggled mightily versus the spread this week.
Our Buddy, Snyder, who led the contest coming in went a disastrous 5-11, but still topped John Reidy, who had been surging. Reidy managed the worst total of the season, going 3-13. Ouch. Scott Stafford, who has come back into the fold of late went 6-10 and Colin Daniels pulled together a 7-9 week, which looks decent by comparison.
Our guest picker, Adam Kinney (@DSNAdam) was the first guest of the year to win the week with a very strong 10-6 performance. So congratulations are in order.
With the NFL season entering it's fourth quarter, the standings are now: 1) Snyder 97-88-6, 2) Colin 96-89-6, Reidy 94-91-6 and Snyder 93-92-6. All pickers are within a paltry FOUR GAMES of one another, the closest it's been since the beginning.
America is has awoken this morning to news of an unspeakable tragedy in Kansas City - the murder of a young mother and the suicide of a Chiefs player - possibly in front of the Head Coach and the General Manager.
It's week 13 already! Can you believe it? How time flies. For many of you, this will be your final week of fantasy football! The fantasy playoffs begin in most leagues next week. Wow. So...if you're on the bubble we wish you the best. Meanwhile, it's time for our week 13 picks in the annual South Stands NFL pickoff VS the spread.
The contest has certainly gotten more interesting. Week 12 saw our buddy, Snyder come back to earth a little bit. Now all our pickers, Colin, Reidy, Snyder and Producer Scott Stafford are within 5 games of each other. The pressure is on, you guys.
Adam Kinney of Mile High Sports / Denver Sports Nation Radio joins us for the second time this season as guest picker. He hopes to cool the burn he experienced last time.
Our picks for week 13 are, as they say on the web, after the jump.
