When we heard that Josh McDaniels had been hired we hoped that he would bring to the Broncos a little Patriots magic. What he has brought us, instead, is Bill Belichick's hooded sweatshirt, Lawrence Maroney and Spygate.

I'm not a college football fan. I never have been a college football fan. In fact, I hate it. I hate the bullshit bowl system. I hate the shadowy world of recruiting and the fact that people pretend that these inflated jocks are students. College football players aren't students and they aren't amateurs. They are hired guns who cheat in school are paid to play. Not all of them, of course, but just any of them good enough to one day play on Sundays are. We all know this - just like we know that Marijuana isn't medicine - but fans of the game turn a blind eye and root, root, root for their favorite school.

Happy Thanksgiving, South Standers. Enjoy your football feast. Colin and Reidy are locked in a tie going into the week 12 games. Let's see how the boys see it going down this week.

Our NFL prognosticators, Colin and Reidy are locked up once again in their annual pick-off. Colin went 9-7 against the spread in week 11, closing the one game gap Reidy had on him. Reidy went 8-8. On the season both pickers are 65-60-2.
