Colin and John are hitting the studio Sunday evening to talk some Tebow and swap roommate stories. Look for the South Stands Denver Fancast sometime around tennish on Sunday night or download it at Itunes on Monday morning.
Also, catch Colin live with Denver Sports Nation on Blog Talk radio Tuesday night at 9pm.
Gunna be a big week, you guys.
Welcome to the very first Fantasy Football article ever featured here at the South Stands. We’re turning our fantasy focus to the effect the Broncos new starting quarterback will have on the weapons around him as well as his own his potential production.
Brandon Lloyd is famous for his "you can't see me" gesture. Soon Broncos fans may find that they no longer see him in Orange and Blue. According to rumors floating about, Lloyd is on the trading block along with DJ Williams and Brian Dawkins.
It would be a shame to see Tim Tebow lose a weapon like Lloyd before he has had a chance to prove himself to the "Johns". It's pretty clear, though, that Fox has decided that he needs to move some pieces around if he wants to rebuild the Broncos.
Take it for what it's worth, but rumors circulating on the web indicate that the Broncos are negotiating with the Philadelphia Eagles to ship linebacker DJ Williams out of Denver in exchange for a 3rd round draft pick.
The Miami Dolphins will be honoring the Florida Gators National Championship team and it's quarterback, one Tim Tebow, at half time of their week 7 game with the Denver Broncos. Dolphins fans are unamused.
Hidden away, deep in the folds of this thing we call the internet, can be found a columnist named John Reidy who writes about Denver Sports for the AV Club Denver / Boulder. In this week's edition of Jock Itch, Reidy discusses "the greatest loss in Broncos history:
"After weeks and weeks of hand-wringing, fan infighting, and lame-ass billboards, Tebow finally solidified himself as the quarterback of the team with an exciting performance in relief of Kyle Orton.."
"The Broncos lost the game, and fans were as elated as they have been in five years. The euphoria coming from Broncos Country could be seen from space, even though the team lost."
Check out Reidy's fantastic column this week and every week HERE
Everybody's down on Kyle Orton these days. What did the poor guy do to deserve this? Doesn't John Fox realize that he gives the Broncos their best chance to win?
John Fox heard your pleas. You wanted Tim Tebow. John Fox gave you Tim Tebow - for one play. One first-quarter rush for a one yard loss is all you get, idiots.
