The Bengals return home after splitting their first two games on the road.  They host the 49ers in a clash of not-too-bad / not-too-good teams.

Buffalo VS New England (-8.5)

It’s an AFC East showdown as the Bills, coming off an exciting home win over the Oakland R***ers , host Tom Brady and the Pats.  New England’s unique two-tight-end offense has been unstoppable so far this season.  Can the Bills be the first to slow it down?

Houston @ New Orleans (-4)

If the Texans are to be considered serious contenders this is a game they need to win.  Drew Brees may have something to say about that.

NY Giants @ Philadelphia (-7.5)

If Eli weren’t named “Manning” Giants fans would be calling for his head.  He faces a vicious Eagles secondary on the road in week 3.  Mike Vick is practicing and it looks like he’ll be ready to roll.

Miami @ Cleveland (-2.5)

If the Dolphins don’t start winning games head coach Tony Sparano is likely to wind up on the scrap heap soon.  The Browns, like the Bengals, are little more than also-rans in the AFC North, but they are a team with spunk.

Denver @ Tennessee (-6.5)

The Titans made the mighty Baltimore Ravens look like chickens in week 2, beating them in the surprise upset of the week.  Veteran Matt Hasselbeck is connecting with Kenny Britt early and often.  Britt is easily the most talented WR he has ever played with and the two have found instant chemistry.  Assuming Champ Bailey does not play, and it doesn't look like he will, the Denver secondary could be in big trouble.  Chris Johnson is also expected to break out in this game.  Can the Broncos defy the odds?

Minnesota VS Detroit (-3.5)

It's a crazy world we are living in when Detroit is favored to beat the Vikings in the Metrodome.  But, like the Metrodome, the Vikings have deflated.  Donovan McNabb Zombie QB costumes will be all the rage this Halloween in Minny.  He's been tuuurrrible.  The Lions, on the other hand, could actually go to the Superbowl.

Jacksonville @ Carolina (-3.5)

It's rookie QB VS rookie QB in Carolina Sunday.  Some kid named Blaine will line up opposite the dynamic Cam Newton.

St Louis VS Baltimore (-3.5)

The Rams are underdogs at home to a Ravens team coming off a choking loss to the Titans in week 2.  The Rammies are odds-on favorites to win their crappy division.  They had better get busy, though.  They have looked very good the past two weeks.

Atlanta @ Tampa Bay (-1.5)

What are you supposed to do with a 1.5 point line?  It's pretty obvious that Vegas likes the Falcons here.

Seattle VS Arizona (-3.5)

Another home dog.  The road to an NFC West championship runs through Seattle, right?  Here's hoping 7-9 doesn't get it done again this year.  Yeesh.

Chicago VS Green Bay (-3.5)

Yep.  It's another home dog.  Will Jay Cutler survive Clay Matthews?

Do you suppose NBC knew that Peyton Manning would miss this game and that the Colts would be absolutely awful?
