Mile High Sports super star Peter Burns (@PeterBurnsRadio and 7-9 every morning on FM 93.7) and pro hockey player Jay Meloff (@Jay_Meloff) join the show for one of our finer efforts. Seriously, this one is great because we cover the gambit from the Rockies horrid PR moves, to fantasy football, Canada, meeting Obama, and the life of the pro hockey player.

John gets out ahead of the story and admits to Jay that he plays roller hockey. Jay is lukewarm to it. Our Mile High Sports spread is discussed as is Jenny Cavnar’s feature being in the same mag as Colin’s mug. IDP is ICP to some on the show. Burns nearly makes Reidy do a spit take. We get deep into the nomadic life of the pro hockey player and the oatmeal consumed.

We talk about the great new developments with the @JRGFoundation and Scott cuts in a fantastic remix of a Rush song for our Canadian guest. Burns talks his douche bag past and what it’s like to host a show with Mark Kiszla. We talk Iguodala’s perceived disdain for Denver, and John talks one on one with fellow hockey player Jay about what it’s like to be a hockey player.

We go overtime talking Rockies and cheap hockey hits. Peter needs some help with his mustache while Jay’s looks like a real 70’s hockey player. A great story about Jessica and Jay’s mustache is told and Peter wraps it up with a great story when President Obama came to speak to the family and friends affected by the Aurora tragedy.
