Our week 12 NFL picks VS the spread

Happy Thanksgiving, South Standers. Enjoy your football feast. Colin and Reidy are locked in a tie going into the week 12 games. Let's see how the boys see it going down this week.

New England @ Detroit (+6.5)
The Patriots polished off the Colts in week 11 and they are back on top of the AFC in terms of Superbowl chit-chat. Brady and Co. head onto Detroit on Thanksgiving for a game that means the world to the Lions. Let's hope it's not a "turkey". It's not hard to imagine New England "stuffing" the Lions.
Colin's pick: Detroit +6.5 Reidy's pick: NE -6.5

New Orleans @ Dallas (+3.5)
The comeback Cowboys host the Superbowl Champs on Thanksgiving with little on the line other than pride. Dallas cannot possibly make the playoffs. They can, however, show their fans the money with a win over a white-hot conference opponent.
Colin's pick: New Orleans -3.5 Reidy's pick: Dallas +3.5

NY Jets VS Cincinnati (+9)
You talk about opposites. The Jets always find a way to win. Cincy always finds a way to lose. To quote T.O.: they are "terrible". And this game will be terrible. None of the Thanksgiving games are any good but this one is the worst.
Colin's pick: Cincy +9 Reidy's pick: Cincy +9

Washington VS Minnesota (+1.5)
Why are the Redskins only favored by 1.5 hosting the Vikings? What does Vegas know that we don't? Is it the idea that the Vikes will rally around their interim coach?
Colin's pick: Minnesota +1.5 Reidy's pick: Minnesota +1.5

Pittsburgh @ Buffalo (+6.5)
The Bills are nowhere near as bad as their record indicates and they are showing real spirit by not playing for a draft pick. Instead, they have been one of the more exciting teams to watch. This week they face the Steelers who are not as good as their record indicates. Should be a fun one.
Colin's pick: Buffalo +6.5 Reidy's pick: Buffalo +6.5

Houston VS Tennessee (+6.5)
Rusty Smith is not a disgusting sexual reference. He's the new QB of the Titans. Yeesh. Tennessee is the latest team to implode. Vinnie Young is done - placed on IR. Randy Moss is a ghost. The Texans suck balls, too. They're at home, though.
Colin's pick: Tennessee +6.5 Reidy's pick: Houston -6.5

NY Giants VS Jacksonville (+7)
The Jags are in 1st place in the AFC South. Go ahead, take a second and read that sentence one more time. Unbelievable. They are the surprise team nobody seems to be talking about. The Giants are just the Giants - a very solid team few glaring weaknesses and a real chance at missing the playoffs.
Colin's pick: NY Giants -7 Reidy's pick: Jackoffsonville: +7

Cleveland VS Carolina (+10)
Is there any question that the Panthers are the NFL's lousiest team? They totally suck. This week they travel to chilly Cleveland to fold versus the Browns who are one of the more entertaining teams to watch - unless your name is Josh McDaniels in which case you are better off looking away as Peyton Hillis scores touchdown after touchdown.
Colin's pick: Cleveland -10 Reidy's pick: Carolina +10

Baltimore VS Tampa Bay (+7.5)
The Ravens are as tough as nails and could win the AFC North if Pittsburgh blinks. The Ravens can't afford to drop a home game. The Bucs come to town riding high after shutting out the 'Niners in week 11.
Colin's pick: Tampa Bay +7.5 Reidy's pick: Valdemort -7.5

Philadelphia @ Chicago (+3.5)
The Bears lead the NFC North and are probably not thrilled about being home dogs to Michael Vick and the Philly Eagles. The Eagles are favored to win their division, too. They might be the most exciting team in the NFL.
Colin's pick: Chicago +3.5 Reidy's pick: Philly -3.5

Atlanta VS Green Bay (+2)
This is among the many nice match ups in the NFC this week. Each of these teams will be in the playoffs. Atlanta is the favorite, but not by the default 3 points. Green Bay is amazing - possibly the best team in the NFL. One thing's for certain - they don't miss Brett Favre.
Colin's pick: Green Bay +2 Reidy's pick: Green Bay +2

Oakland VS Miami (+3)
The Raiders are by no means out of the battle for the AFC West but they have to keep winning - especially at home - especially versus a Miami team that is likely to without Brandon Marshall.
Colin's pick: Oakland -3 Reidy's pick: Oakland -3

Kansas City @ Seattle (+1.5)
It's the battle of teams that only play well at home! Both KC and Seattle still have a shot at winning their respective shitty divisions therefore this is a big game.
Colin's pick: Seattle +1.5 Reidy's pick: KC -1.5

Denver VS St Louis (+4)
Don't sleep on the Rams, Broncos fans.
Colin's pick: St Louis +4 Reidy's pick: Broncos -4

Indianapolis VS San Diego (+3)
Non-believers are becoming convinced. San Diego will probably win the AFC West. If they can win in Indianapolis it will be a forgone conclusion.
Colin's pick: San Diego +3 Reidy's pick: Indy -3

San Francisco @ Arizona (+1)
Do they really even need to play this game? In prime time no less?
Colin's pick: Arizona +1 Reidy's pick: San Francisco -1
